You’ll want to wear weather-appropriate clothing, polarized sunglasses, and closed-toe shoes. We provide all the bowfishing gear you’ll need — including bows, arrows, and lights.
Do I need experience to go bowfishing?
Not at all. Our trips are beginner-friendly. Whether you’ve never picked up a bow or you’ve done this before, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know.
What kind of fish can we target while bowfishing?
We typically go after species like gar, carp, drum, and buffalo — all legal for bowfishing in Tennessee.
Is bowfishing safe for kids?
Yes, we welcome families. We recommend ages 10+ for bowfishing, and we’ll adjust the trip based on your group’s experience and comfort level.
Is this a day or night trip?
Most bowfishing trips happen at night when fish are easier to spot with high-powered lights — but daytime trips can be arranged by request.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes — all anglers will need a valid Tennessee fishing license. You can grab one online or from most sporting goods stores.
